New appointments to GO-BC's Science Technical Working group.
Over the past week, Prof. Hillary Kennedy and Prof. Pere Masque Barri have been appointed as the Science Technical Working group's new Science Lead and Science Co-Lead. UN Ocean Decade Conference, Barcelona
A group of representatives from the GO-BC Science Technical Working Group attended the first UN Ocean Decade conference between 10th-12th April in Barcelona. Members of the GO-BC chaired, presented, and took part in panel discussions at a wide variety of Ocean Decade satellite events, putting GO-BC on the map! Activity in the WIOMN
The Western Indian Ocean Mangrove Network (WIOMN) is a regional network of scientists from nine nations who study and protect vital blue carbon habitats in the Western Indian Ocean region. We spoke to Professor Janine Adams from Nelson Mandela University, Vice Chairperson of WIOMN, to gain insights into recent activity conducted as part of WIOMN.
